As the end of the year approaches, it is always a good idea to look back and review the events of the past 12 months. This exercise helps you see whether you are on track towards your long term goals or you need to change some things about your approach in the new year. At Euro Puppy, we’ve had a most eventful year, with both lots of hard work and fun. We’ve been celebrating our 10th anniversary throughout the year, introduced the 10 Year Satisfaction Guarantee, focused on customer service, launched an iPhone application, shipped to some new countries and gained a foothold in Egypt. But most of all, we’ve made a few hundred families very happy.

With that, we wish you all a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year and hope to see you back in January!

2010 has
been an eventful and exciting year for Euro Puppy. We listened to your feedback
and worked very hard to transform our website into a cheerful and easy-to-use
online environment. We lived up to the challenges of the new media and created
our Facebook page and started using Twitter giving you more direct ways for
interaction. We created a newsletter service and published several ebooks

But most of
all, we continued to find and show case some of the best and cutest puppies
Europe can offer.
Our puppies found loving, forever homes in Nicaragua, Qatar,
Ethiopia, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Egypt, Malaysia, Brazil, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates
and the Unites States of America –  just
to mention a few. We received many photos from happy families in these and
other countries that you can find among our references or on our Facebook page.

In 2011,
Euro puppy will continue to fulfill its mission by offering carefully selected puppies
from the Champion lines of Europe.

We wish

8 things a dog should promise before Christmas

December 8, 2010
Peter

Most dogs are not as careful as the one in the video and they will not only dance around the Christmas tree. They are much more likely to think its edible or that it’s their new toy. To avoid disaster, here is a list of things a dog should promise as Christmas approaches:

  1. I will not open all the surprises just because I’m too curious.
  2. I know that Christmas light bulbs, ornaments, stockings and tinsel from the Christmas tree are not food.
  3. I will not demolish the Christmas tree and drag the string of lights out into the backyard through the doggy door.
  4. I will not cut myself while chewing away on Christmas light bulbs and ornaments, making my family have to call the vet’s at Christmas.
  5. I will not get tangled up in the Christmas tree lights and pull the tree down while trying to chase a cat through the window.
  6. I will not even think about diving into the Christmas tree to get the candy canes (which I will eat – paper and all).
  7. I will not pee on people’s presents in the hope that I might get them.
  8. I will not pee on the Christmas tree, because I don’t want to ruin my family’s Christmas by electrocuting myself.

As much as we love our dogs, we know that they rarely promise anything, so it is us who need to be extra careful at Christmas time. If we follow one basic rule, which is never leave the dog alone with the Christmas tree, we have already done a lot to prevent accidents from happening.

For those of you, who still haven’t found the right puppy, but would like to celebrate Christmas with a new four legged addition to the family, it is still not too late! You can still find your dream puppy and have it with you by Christmas Eve.

This year, we made a special effort to bring you the most amazing puppies before Christmas. Just have a look at some of them.

Eliott

Elliott was born in a litter of 8. He is the most beautiful male. His sire has great show results and he has everything it takes to become a successful show dog himself! He has an amazingly friendly personality and he will play with anything and anybody. Labradors are well known for their friendly nature, so if you have young children Elliott could be a dream Christmas present for the whole family!

Lady Fox - Havanese puppy

Just look at that! What a fantastic color that puppy has! Lady Fox comes from great stock, her sire is junior champion. She is very affectionate, cheerful and friendly. The perfect present for Christmas!

White Prince - Bolognese puppy

This curious and playful little boy, called White Prince, is another exceptional pup. He has a beautiful snow white coat, which makes him all the more special. Both her parents have champion titles and he too has the potential to become the star of the ring. He will surely make your family’s Christmas memorable!

Remember, you are still in time to get your dream puppy for Christmas!

Puppy Love for Christmas…With Over a Decade of Responsibility to Come.

July 12, 2010
ann

At Euro Puppy we would like to wish everyone a Joyous Festive Season and Happy Holidays! One can hardly think of Christmas without the concept of gift giving. In today’s day and age, gifts range from the classic, to the wacky. The really memorable ones are those which are funny, clever, convenient and useful. As the top provider of healthy and happy puppies, we believe that it is also our responsibility to ask you to bear a few things in mind when contemplating giving a puppy as a gift this Christmas. Buying a puppy is a serious decision that one makes… during the Christmas season or otherwise.

It is always better to let someone select their own four-legged companion, based on their own likes and wants. Buying a puppy for Christmas as a gift is by all means acceptable, as long as you get the Right Dog . You’ll have to ask your family member what breed they want. After all, there are over 150 breeds to choose from! A puppy as a gift should definitely not come as a surprise – If you’re planning on buying a Christmas puppy, make sure the recipient wants a puppy. Don’t drop a bundle of responsibility on someone who doesn’t want that responsibility. Otherwise, it’ll end up at the shelter, and likely to be put down. A puppy must bond with his new owner and if the whole family pitches in and helps, it becomes easier to give a stable environment and enough attention to a new puppy . A gift or a toy can easily be returned. But a puppy is a living, breathing creature. It cannot be hired out, like a good movie, and then when the festive season is over, you return him in goodwill. Care for the puppy, should come from the whole family. First and foremost, the recipient, should be well prepared…much like an expectant mother, getting ready to go to the hospital, by packing her “little suitcase”.

This is a serious responsibility that ranges from 10-20 years! Of course, there is nothing to beat the unconditional love that a puppy can offer. So, before and during the festive season, take some time out and research the breeds. Look at your own lifestyle if you are buying a puppy for yourself, or the preferences of your recipient, if it will be a gift. Look at our breed info about our breeds, and contact our sales team, if a puppy is “singing Christmas carols to you”. We have a wonderful selection of puppies and a wide selection of breeds from the best European breeders. Once you have researched the topic well enough you can safely jump into what will be the most rewarding shopping of your life. Impulsive shopping and puppy-love do not go hand in hand. Please remember that.

At Euro Puppy, our dedicated team of dog-lovers is always happy to give advice, and to help you choose a puppy that has melted your heart. We always strive to make every customer happy. We believe that by offering the highest quality and healthiest puppies from the top-champion lines of Europe, there is also a certain amount of responsibility on the part of the buyer too. The last thing that we would like to see is that these happy puppies are taken to a shelter or given away, because impulsive festive shopping got the better of an enthusiastic buyer. The whole family can have much more love with the addition of a puppy this Christmas. Just bear in mind, there will be fewer “silent nights”.

We at Euro Puppy do hope that you will think about your decision of buying a puppy wisely. Bearing in mind which puppy melted your heart, we will do our utmost to make your dream of owning a puppy become a reality this Christmas. At Euro Puppy we are here to make your dreams come true. Happy Holidays!

This ceramic Santa Dog is sure to be a merry gift for Christmas. This Night light works by having the little red balls on the wreath light up.
It’s nine inches tall and is powered by two AA batteries.

So? Wacky or tacky? What do you think dear Dog lover?
