New Puppy Alert

The Sealyham Terriers are loyal, loving, independent, spirited, and affectionate. They are brave little dogs. They have been described as "the most beautiful union between cheerfulness and courage." They are reserved with strangers, fairly independent, and generally good with other pets. The Sealyham is good at catching mice and rats.

They are best with older children who are considerate of dogs. Sealyhams are "pack" dogs and appreciate being a key part of a family. They are very active at puppyhood, but calm down gradually as they age and rather become couch potatoes. To keep their weight under control, regular exercise is recommended. You should consider the Sealyham if you are looking for a happy and loving dog, who will cheer you up any time of the day and who does not need something to do all the time.
