New Puppy Alert

Be ahead of the Crowd when a new Weimaraner is available by signing up to our Puppy Alert.

This happy and loving breed is cheerful, affectionate and very rambunctious, full of energy. The Weimaraner is intelligent, but can be highly opinionated and willful. Therefore it should have firm, experienced training from an early age. This smart dog can learn quickly. It is also very brave, loyal and protective on its own territory.

The Weimaraner needs attention and companionship. If relegated to a kennel life or if left alone too much, it can become very destructive and restless. It needs to live indoors as a member of the family. They are extremely eager to please and motivated by reward (food or praise). Once a trick is learned, the dog will leap to repeat for praise. The Weimaraner is an all purpose dog, loving and perfectly safe with children, capable of guarding the house and always ready to go hunting with you.
