Cavapom

The Cavapom is a mixed breed dog, a combination of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the Pomeranian. They weigh between 8 and 20 pounds and are 12 to 15 inches in height. The Cavapom is a well proportioned dog with a rounded head, and a full muzzle. There can be some variation in their look as they are a cross. Sometimes they have the small, erect ears of the Pomeranian, other times the longer ears of the Cavalier.

They usually have the fluffier coat of the Pomeranian, but can also have the longer, silkier coat of the Cavalier. Their eyes are usually brown. Despite their delicate looks, this is a robust, well built breed.

Temperament

Cavapom dog

The Cavapom, thanks to its Pomeranian side tends to be a very loving and loyal dog to its owners. However with the Cavalier being a very friendly and outgoing breed, this often makes the Cavapom more sociable and happy with strangers than the Pomeranian.

Cavapom dog

Whatever the combination of personality your Cavapom gets from its parents, you can be certain of having an affectionate companion. Because they are an eager to please breed, they are reasonably good at training. 60 minutes of walking a day should be enough for the Cavapom
