During this time we will provide you with updates on your puppy. We will also inform the breeder to arrange the necessary vaccinations for your puppy.
We will arrange for the FCI Pedigree and will do our best to send it with your dog, however this is dependent on the breeder and kennel club, and processing times do not always allow this. If you request a FCI Export Pedigree this will always arrive after the dog. You may request to receive the papers via FedEx for $50.
We will book the flight for your puppy for the earliest date allowed and organise the documents needed for the import. We book the flight for the second part of the week, depending on the destination. You can let us know which day is more convenient for you. Once the flight arrangements have been made, will we inform you promptly. If you deem it necessary, we will hold your puppy longer – in these circumstances you must pay applicable boarding fees.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
Your puppy will visit a veterinarian to ensure they are healthy and meet all the requirements for travel. This usually takes place one or two days before departure. We separate the puppies from their mothers and littermates as late as possible to prevent separation anxiety and socialization problems. In addition, a government veterinarian also checks your puppy to ensure that he/she is healthy and fit for the journey. Unless the pedigree is ready, only the required health and import documents travel with the puppy attached to the crate.
When your dog is approaching the age where it can travel to you, you will be informed of the expected arrival date and time for you to collect your dog. Please be waiting for your puppy at the airport at the given time. Usually the puppy is available 2 hours after the flight’s arrival time, and a valid ID such as passport or driver’s licence is needed. We suggest giving your puppy bottled water upon arrival. It is also recommended to feed him/her with the same brand that he/she has previously been fed with. Please take your dog to a licensed vet within 48 hours for a post arrival check up.
