Über Boerboel
Das Wort “boerboel” leitet sich von “Boer” Wort für “Bauer”. Boerboel übersetzt also entweder als “Hofhund” oder “Boer Hund” in Afrikaans. Der Boerboel ist ein perfekt ausbalancierter Hund mit allen Körperteilen in keinem Verhältnis zu einander. Der Kopf ist kurz, breit, tief, quadratisch, ist muskulös und hat gut gefüllten Wangen. Der Körper ist sehr muskulös, stämmig und kompakt.
Die Haut ist dick, locker und gut pigmentiert mit moderaten Falten auf der Stirn, wenn der Hund aufmerksam ist.
